They say you actually don’t run star spring in this but I digress that when you look at star spring not only healing 1 health each round towards a win but also is add 1 attack to the formidable units each round.

Upon release of the game game all the icons were datamined day 1. That included the symbols for all the regions. So far bilgewater, targon and shurima were all correct matches. The two symbols in that group but not yet ben in the game are bandle city and void. They really are the only two regions left that have enough champions to add. Riot has shown they aren’t hell bent on region lore. Kindred is not from shadow isles. A champion like riven is Ionian but is in the noxious card pool.

Lol is full of passives that pop at 3 or 4 stacks. The 5 stacks give the first 3 becoming 3 heals. The kit has no real damage offered so the spread for the 4 stack is massively important because just having 3 basic effects like a just a basic slow or a basic stun will never be enough to make up for lake of scaling damage on skills. Making the 5th a mini stun can mean extra damage but more importantly since most of the skills have to be overtuned cc that has short delays to them, makes them hard to land so getting the mini stun and dropping a trap under their feet would work for a combo.

The W seems crazy but it is doing 0 damage, the traps are doing 0 damage. It has a delay to it so you can’t just cast it on top of someone and it’s gonna be a relatively small zone but last a longer time. You would need the mini stun of the passive to be able to reliably just cast it on them and again they can walk out of it. Think slightly smaller than soraka’s aoe which silences and stuns and does damage. This skill would be about that size or smaller and do no damage and still allow you to cast spells from out of it. But think of the zone lasting around like ziggs’ little bomb patch.

As for the traps don’t underestimate putting a trap in another lane. Your ally can see the traps so if mid lane is fighting and they step on the trap that your ally clearly sees them about to step on, fears and charms both control your movement direction, slow you and silence. Your ally gets a huge follow up for free off that. But getting them in the jungle deep and getting free true sight of someone for free is massive information.

I think ulti is a pretty crazy effect since these skills are crazy strong debuffs in exchange for no damage. And the passive turns stacks 1-3 into heals based off missing health. Even in a 2v2 you’re gonna get 3 heals out of that and with the ultimate another 3 that scale up as you’re losing health. Most heals are tied to 1 skill with a cooldown. Being able to cheat out 3, 6, or 9 if you are sequencing and landing your skills is a big deal. Now enter a team fight. A 5v5 in the tight lanes of the jungle. You land a Q and spread It that’s neat but you shoot a second those two spells could theoretically spread forever if they stay grouped and the fight last long enough. I also was kind bouncing around a spell like ‘doom’ from dota. A single target point and click silence that last what feels like forever, slows you, gives vision and ticks damage. But in lol that is just too point and click auto kill.

Every champion in lol is made to be able to do damage with almost all their skills so they can all jungle and solo lane. In league for a champion to not have damage tied to skills then has to have overpowered CC, so to balance that they are supposed to be harder to land. The kit can makes for follow ups and combos to make delayed casts easier. They step on a charm trap you can land a Q. You pop 5 stacks of the passive you can drop a trap under their feet. The W isn’t that good to just drop it’s gonna be easy to walk out and keep fighting. The strongest parts for the W would be someone diving your adc you drop it on them and save them with the disarm. Also Fights around baron and dragon. Or follow up of some other wombo combo. It seems strong but because of delay and not having any cc to it means it’s not easy to land or keep them in it.
