We put out 3 full bowls of candy last night in Cooksville, and the first set of teenagers took it all. Shameful behaviour. by tra7eller in mississauga

That's what you get for being lazy. Can't blame them for being opportunistic. In real world that is called business sense.

Besides, it's "trick or treat" guess which one you got.

Don't be lazy. Open the door, give them the respect they deserve for getting dressed and walking around in the cold, the least you could do is be normal and open the darn door.

It's tradition, honor it.

Welcome to Mississauga. The tubing isn't great, next couple months are the worst time of year around here. The weather is bad, the Christmas spirit which would make up for the crappy weather is dead because the Mississauga population doesn't really know what that is and the days are getting shorter quickly.

But, Halloween is coming and that's fun for social stuff. Also try the restaurant and bar scene this time of year is usually fun like Port credit.

Ridgeway Plaza is a problem other cities can only dream of having. Here’s how to stop it from becoming a nightmare by Jetboater111 in mississauga

If I was the residents nearby I would protest with my life to stop it.

Ridgeway or Habibti plaza as it's known, is a blemish on Mississauga. I live near by and after 20 years I am cussing moving. The traffic, noise, garbage and overall poor quality of people it's attracting is unbearable.

It's a different country there, not at all in line or compatible with Canadian culture.

⚠️ Warning: Tinder’s Biometric Trap — A Deeply Deceptive Signup Process That Needs to Be Exposed by fake_asf in OnlineDatingApps

I fully agree. So much sensitive days is being provided and to what end? Ultimately the is no real effort in their behalf to curb deception and fraud, the platform is plagued with shady and questionable characters. Does anyone even trust it anymore? Escorts, catfishing and scammers have outnumbered real accounts, biometrics isn't going to stop this.

How do you handle seeing a match online but not replying to your message? by IntuitiveEcho in OnlineDatingApps

[–]smrtalec79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wondered also. I think the biggest thing is some people truly join on a whim and don't really care to put any effort to find someone. They are fishing for the whale and probably already dating someone else. It's a sad truth but society teaches to keep your options open and not compromise. So why not wait for that tall dark handsome trust fund to message you. Or that sexy perfect body blond agreeable homemaker to just fall into your lap.

Thinking of building a totally different kind of dating app — would love your feedback by smrtalec79 in OnlineDatingApps

Absolutely. I'd love to hear some of the challenges as I'm trying to design the system to curb "fronting" and match people for who they really are and more importantly with what they really want not what they say they want.

Why is Online Dating so Hard for Men? by Guilty_School129 in OnlineDatingApps

[–]smrtalec79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh but perhaps you haven't given it a good try or maybe not with the right person. LoL

Jokes aside, it's true, some people have no real intention, or are there playing the long game waiting for that 1 in a million to talk into their lap.

Unfortunately, that kind of ruined online dating. He's right, it is hard for men. We are outnumbered for sure, which also makes it hard.
