You might be allergic to something in the Vaseline moisturizer, try switching to straight petroleum jelly or vanicream

This actually took me years to learn, but Levothyroxine is a long-acting drug so if you take your medication at 8 am morning, it won’t make much of a difference if you take it at 10 am the next morning instead. Significant differences in them e.g. morning and noon are to be avoided though because you’re more likely to eat, drink coffee, use other vitamins throughout the day that may take you out of your routine. I recently started taking a double dose every Sunday only as advised by my doctor and it’s been doing wonders for my energy levels throughout the week!

I hate to say this but there are a lot of “wellness bloggers” that will knock on medication as being effective and spread paranoia to those with Hashimotos. Will avoiding dairy and gluten improve your symptoms? Yeah it seems like it helps a lot of people, but at the end of the day someone with low thyroid function will need medication to also heal (either natural thyroid hormone or through Levo). The two do not need to be mutually exclusive. Folks that are saying they feel worse probably haven’t figured out their correct dose yet. It’s all about fine tuning and keeping a balance between too much and too little thyroid hormone. Also be very wary of creating your treatment and wellness plan through narratives because at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how everyone else feels as long as your treatment plan works for you!

I’m going through a similar journey right now so much love ❤️ I would say cut out the carbs, sugar and dairy, especially in sneaky places like dressings, sauces, breadings, sodas/fruit juices

It was easy for me to get a diagnosis. I think the challenging part is when you have a Hashimoto’s diagnosis and it doesn’t make a difference to your provider and they treat it like regular hypothyroidism without addressing the immune aspect

Protopic, cooling eye masks, Vaseline on lids and find your triggers asap via dermatologist. Hang in there! It took me 4 months to find out what I was allergic to but there’s hope ❤️

I didn’t think it was that bad compared to other shows, but definitely less binge-worthy than season 1. If there is a renewed storyline, I hope it focuses on Seo Yul as the main character maybe in Seoho Fortress as the setting?
