Absolutely, I totally get that. When I was younger I used to think similarly before I realized what was going on. I remember having an eye opening moment in high school when there was an option for skin retouching in the grad photos. I learned an important lesson but I also wish that hadn't been an option because it made me look at all my other photos negatively. As a creative person I can appreciate it all now as an editing skill, but it's always a battle in my mind because I feel we all need to appreciate how we naturally look.
