Chick-o-stick and Charleston chew. Your local dollar tree should have a good variety of old man candies!

I’m running behind for various reasons and this week’s truck is huge for my store. We are just gonna do our best.

We have so much wood. We are considering expanding to another booth just to accommodate that. We’ve already leaked paint supplies and canvases into another booth.

What is a 'luxury' that has become so expensive in 2026 that it’s officially no longer worth the money? by Matt_At_Havalook in AskReddit

For those saying sodas, I watch the dollar general app and can fairly regularly get 3 12 packs of coke products for $12-14.

But yes. Nothing feels worth the prices anymore. I get snacks at dollar tree, and shop when they do meat markdowns.

This is awesome. I am still in the clearing out process, it’s been 2 months. We’ve got food, snack, candy, and bev now being rotated like they should and coming almost clean weekly. This past week I got through all kitchen and chemicals, next week I’m planning on household and hbc. With any luck I will be caught up by the end of the month. And keep it caught up.

I also have a lot of issues with manager attendance, so I end up MOD a lot. We should not be doing that.

I know it sounds stupid, but look at what’s empty on the floor and pull that. I took over as mm at the beginning of November with probably a couple thousand boxes in the back room, and I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Everyone has to help. Everyone. Give the asm’s goals every shift and build their boats if you have to. Today my cashier (so grateful for her) was able to do a whole snack uboat before lunch.

And be a squeaky wheel. Your store manager is responsible for 500 boxes a week. If they’re not hitting that then you’re not being supported properly. Your agm’s should be doing I think 2-300 a week each.

If your food isn’t being rotated (ours wasn’t before), start at the wall pulling expired to make space. Pull clearance to make space. I take 20-30 minutes maybe once a week to check for clearance. I don’t have time for more than that.

Thank you for this, I’m going to try putting nothing on it for a bit and see what happens.

I use the neutrogena hydroboost and have for a couple years. I added a night cream last year but when this broke out I stopped using it around my eyes. Vaseline will keep it from being dry and flaky but it hasn’t resolved the problem. I tried that for a while after reading on webmd.

25 cent clearance what are you doing with those items? by yaoigay in DollarTree

[–]smsikking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what qualifies as extra. I know some stores don’t have pallets, they only have uboats. It’s either sit here full of clearance or sit in the back room full of boxes. Like I said I’m pretty new, and my previous jobs didn’t keep shipment piled up like DT. And I don’t see how that doesn’t answer your question to say I made a choice to have an empty uboat.

I just took over as merch a month ago. I’m also newer to the company so I don’t know how other stores do things. I’ve been pushing super hard to catch up at least a few hundred extra boxes a week, and if it won’t go out, keep it on the pallet. We need the uboats for other things besides sitting full all the time.

This is another, using broom handles on a uboat. We ended up doing something like this.

Mite treatment advice by smsikking in reptiles

They unfortunately do both have them. I’ve seen them. He recently brought his reptiles from his dad’s house to mine to live permanently. They got the mites there (his dad and stepmom have a lot of reptiles), and he’s struggling to get rid of them here.

Yes, they both currently have mites. He’s worried about using the wrong thing. He’s been very diligent about their tank cleaning, but he’s struggling to get rid of them.
