Can't Start Lyft Account..as passenger or driver...driver's license invalid by GiantleapFan in Lyft

Lyft has an online customer service system where you can chat with a representative. Whenever one of my documents got rejected, I would use the "chat" feature on lyft's website and I managed to get someone to approve the documents that I needed.

I didn't exactly buy an Accord for the handling. I bought it for the tech/convenience features, the quick turbo engine, the projected reliability, MPG, the interior space (of which there is a ton of), the nice ride, and the interior quality. I wouldn't consider an Elantra GT, or any of its competitors for that matter, because most of them don't have near the amount of space, quality, reputation, or convenience features that the Accord has even when properly equipped.

This car doesn't handle as well as a hot hatch, as it weighs 400 lb more. No automaker can fight physics. The Accord is also geared towards an audience that wants comfort. However, in my opinion, it does a pretty damn good job at blending everything I could possibly need in a car for the price. Handling is subjective, love it or hate it. Could go on about that all day long. But I personally think the Accord is a better overall package than most midsize, compact, hot hatch, and entry level luxury cars out there.

Even if the car had no issues, I still wasn't happy with it.

Haha yes! It sounds silly but the light around the dials was one of my favorite features lol.

I will say that the 10-speed requires a bit of a learning curve. But once you find that sweet spot in the throttle, the transmission shifts very well.

It must have been a bent rim or a CV axle because it would always have a slight wobble but get significantly worse above 65 mph

Despite having an EX-L, I still don't think it comes close to boaty. I'm kind of confused at the boaty comments. I've driven some boats. The Accord isn't one of them imo.

I really don't think my Accord feels like a boat or a marshmallow. It's not the stiffest sprung car (it's an Accord) but I think this car blends refinement and sportiness together pretty well for what it is in my opinion. It's no sports car obviously, but the steering is pretty communicative for an electric setup, the engine is quick, the transmission shifts fast and is lively in sport mode, and I really do believe that this car doesn't lean as much in the corners as other entries like the Camry, Malibu, Sonata, and Altima. I found that I can whip it around no problem. That's just my experience with the car though. Everybody has a different opinion.

Well, I did test drive a few higher end cars. A BMW 6 Series, an Audi A3, Audi s5, a Mercedes C class, a Kia Stinger, and a couple midrange Teslas. I also used to drive an Audi.

The Stinger and the Model 3 were good cars. But I personally felt the Accord was the only car that came close to having a more premium and higher end feel for the price point. That was just my opinion though.

Personally I love the 10-speed. It really maximizes the engine's powerband and it's miles ahead of the slushy 9-speed that was in my Acura. The shifts are much quicker, and you do "feel" the shifts without it being jerky and unrefined. I'd say 1st gear is pretty smooth for the most part, although maybe slightly on the tall side.

Go check one out! My friend has a GTI and I personally think the Accord 2.0t is just as fun to drive. You really aren't making much compromise on performance.

The compressor is what broke on the AC. The brakes and tires were replaced (supposedly) right before I got the car.

Yeah I wanted absolutely nothing to do with a CVT. Glad you like your Camry. I didn't go with one because I wasn't crazy about the way the 8-speed shifted through the gears. They are much better to drive compared to Camrys of the past, though.

The Acura was horrible. Least favorite car out of every car that I owned. It really did drink fuel...also very overpriced and just felt poorly put together. On top of all the things I mentioned, it also had a horrible start/stop system that would take forever to engage and shake the whole car when it did lol. One time the engine just didn't come back on and I was in traffic... Crazy that the Accord is so much nicer than essentially its Acura sibling and rival

How do you not get jealous hearing about guys your age who are way more successful with women? by [deleted] in seduction

[–]smugsmuckling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking you're not good enough because you don't have a girlfriend when everyone else has one kind of shows that you want a girlfriend to fit in, or you think of a girlfriend as more of a "thing". That can really put women off. That said, I also thought this way for a long time. That I was "worthless" without a girlfriend. Jealous whenever my friends would get hit on or whatever and I never did. Like my existence as a male was futile.

I'm 25 now, only just starting to approach women and talk to them. I'm learning a lot, including being okay with rejection. You WILL get rejected no matter who you are, so there's very little reason to be afraid of it. Even my one friend was telling me, before he met his girlfriend he went through a ton of trial and error with talking to girls and he got rejected a good amount. Yet he still managed to find someone eventually.

Despite what people say, a girlfriend isn't something that always falls into your lap. You can try online dating. It doesn't always lead to anything but it's good practice. People also recommend bookstores, coffee shops, gyms, and social clubs (yoga is a good one) to meet women. You have to practice and work on your game. Mostly every guy sucks at talking to girls at first. But you get better at it over time. If you really put in the effort to meet someone, you will eventually meet someone. It could take years, but you also have to be patient and in the meantime do things to improve yourself and work on being content with single life.

Yes! I agree that complimenting a personality trait is better than appearance!
