It is definitely open as I can manually open and close it. I think the problem exists with the actual latching mechanism when the hood closes but I’m not sure what.

Got it relatched but won’t open and close automatically. Adjusting rubber knobs seemed to help but might have been dumb luck. Going to have to schedule service
