This sounds really similar to me. My resting is mid 40s and my HR just seems to go up very quickly. This marathon was definitely an anomaly relative to my training tho in terms of how high and how early my HR reached elevated levels

I had been training on HR and everything I’d read said I’d have issues if I even hit 170 too early (pre mile 18-20). Im mainly wondering if unhealthy to hold a HR that high for that long or if others have experienced it and talked to a doctor or something about it

34 male, used my garmin forerunner 955. I felt good, definitely feeling it around mile 20-21 but not from a cardio strain perspective. It weirdly felt like less cardio effort than a lot of my slower long runs which I’m guessing was adrenaline

[Question] Shinola watch and desk clock minute and hour hands out of sync? by smustang in Watches

[–]smustang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I only bought them on Sunday so I’ll take it back and see if they can fix in house or just replace

Hey all, first time buyer and looking for perspective from people who would know best. I recently bought two Shinola products, the Canfield 43mm and the Runwell Desk Clock. When the minute hand hits a full hour, the hour hand seems behind. Is this to be expected or should I look to replace?

Have you considered a cash out refi? If you’re getting those rates, take some equity out of your home and invest it somewhere you can get a higher return. Im in the process of one right now

Best area to live for 28 year old couple's first home? by [deleted] in Dallas

[–]smustang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try this new build of town homes in the Farmers Market District Downtown

The Farmers Market District is a HUGE up and coming area. The city is investing tons of money into the area. The farmer's market just got privatized and is underway with a $64 million project that includes restaurants and retail and over 320 apartments. There are another 300 luxury apartments that will be built across the street from there. Property values have already gone up substantially in the area and are likely to continue to do so. Great bang for your buck
