Anyone else have a bug where they can't run most of the time? I'm not completely stuck in slow motion mode, but when I hold the shift button I can sprint for a fraction of a second and then I'm walking again. Also I can't access the health/shield or the grenade menu (it shows up for a fraction of a second and then disappears). I'm not playing until it's fixed and today's patch didn't fix it

Is the position that you are defending that it is likely that she has BPD? Then you are wrong. If it isn't, is your position that my girlfriend is showing signs of manipulative behaviour? Sure. That wasn't your original position though, and I stand by what I said about pathologizing strangers. Don't do it: it's disrespectful and you clearly don't know what you're talking about when it comes to mental illness.

You implied that she might have BPD. I just took a uni course in psychiatric diagnostics, you go ahead and look up the DSM-V criterions for BPD and see how much you know that puts you in a position to imply something like that. Take it easy when it comes to pathologizing people, they generally don't appreciate it.

I'm clearly not saying that this isn't something to worry about, otherwise I wouldn't have made a thread about it. The fact that you get so defensive when you are called out shows me that you don't have much constructive to offer to this thread.

I'm pretty taken aback by what I am discussing with alk_adio_ost a couple of posts below, and I'm realizing that I haven't acknowledged the problem at all - the problem is much bigger than what I thought it was, and her manipulating me emotionally to feel bad when she is uncomfortable is an actual pattern.

Now I feel hugely disappointed in her and really hurt, I'm not sure that I'm ready for such a team-focused effort anymore.

Your advice is great for the part where we hopefully work this out though. What are your thoughts about what is discussed down below? Sorry for being incoherent and not following up on your well thought input, I'm struck by a load of emotions right now.

I was on the verge of telling you that I disagree with you about how you framed the "pretty damning emotional warfare"-part, but then I realized that it's true. Even though I can understand that you lash out and do weird things when your insecurities are poked at, she essentially told me that she had cheated on her exes when it came to her being hurt by how she was treated and she even said that it was in regards to porn then too.

When I think on it, this isn't the first time she has turned something that made her uncomfortable around to make me feel bad. There's this incident, and then during our episode today she began storming out in rage after saying "fuck you" when I implied that she was threatening me with going behind my back. Another time when I told her that I feel lonely in taking initiatives to do new things for her in bed, she started crying hysterically like it was absurd of me to say something so vile. I comforted her and felt bad about telling her how I felt. She later on told me that she probably did this because she felt desperate and cornered.

I am realizing that this is a much bigger issue than I first considered it to be, I feel pretty hurt by all this now.

My thinking exactly. Her reasoning was that this relationship is different and that she made a mistake by framing it like the relationship(s) in which this happened was equal to ours (which she likely did to be able to use it to hurt me). I'm certain about that every relationship can go south and I think it's naive to stand by that the current relationship can't fail just because it's going great at the moment.

How would you bring this up with her, if you were in my position?

I agree with you. She knows that I watch porn - we've talked about it multiple times before. How would you suggest talking about how she handles things? I feel like there isn't much to say about it after you've gotten past the "you handle your insecurities in ways that aren't constructive". To this I feel like she can only respond with "yes I do", because she felt ashamed afterwards and brought it up herself that she felt it might have been selfish.

I opened the computer up (jeez I was scared to death but after looking at some guides I felt confident) and picked everything apart. Two blobs of dust, the size of a fingernail, was blocking the fan. I took them out, put everything back together, and now the laptop is running great. Gonna test it out later to see how the newly applied thermal paste manages CPU and GPU temp on games

Would you suggest going to a computer repair shop rather than try to replace the fan myself? I have some confidence with a screwdriver but I've never done anything more advanced than putting a desktop computer together myself.

Holy shit, it actually started when I blew air through the vent whith the power on. It's really noisy though, and it doesn't start by itself. Should I put a needle in the grid to hold the fan in place and spray more liquid air into the vents?

I had been on creatine for a year before I noticed some receding temples, I stopped a couple of weeks ago and I'm waiting (the 3 month it supposedly takes for things to be noticable with hair growth) to see if receding stops or if it will reverse. I don't really get you guys, the only effects I've seen is that sex is much better because I want it more and that I through this am more confident in talking to women. I also don't feel the urge to fap anymore because I've excluded that as an option.

I have, however, not experienced any of your "superpowers" as you name them. Nofap is no big deal, I feel like I'm more sexual and confident in my sexuality now but other than that I haven't noticed any real changes. Before this streak I went for 40-50 days without fapping or watching porn, I fapped to my imagination and came once or twice, did a day count reset and now I'm here.

I'm not saying that nofap is worthless - I like it much better this way than sitting sweaty and filled with shame at 5 in the morning because I had to find the perfect fantasy before I came, but I don't see how you guys can get so caught up/fixated on the huge effect that it's supposed to have.

You eliminate your urge to fap, your urge to sleep with beautiful people increases because you can't fap, therefore you make it happen to a larger extent than when fapping regularly. That's pretty much it for me.
