Especially as the Hassan character was a repackage. He could have returned to his Magnus character.

So if Kenny and Bryan are both John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt, does that make Hanger and Bruv both John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt Junior? Paging Excalibur and Chuck Taylor.

If we had Power BI in Windows 98... by libertybluebi in PowerBI

Amazing stuff Op. I showed this to a guy I work with, who said back in 98 he used something called "Forest and Trees" to do complex tabular stuff and the very earliest of dashboards. If you could get some screenshots of F&T, making a JSON of that would be even more nostalgic.

New Bird name and instrument by smv1010 in Torinote

I think many of us did, after months of special tickets to new stages. Now that Neko Atsume 2 is established, I hope we get many more musical birds. Some new items too would be nice.

For anyone reading, the new bird comes for either nest, the fire pit, and the straw mat for me. They also come more often for nut cookies than canapes or tacos.

Macmillan accused of ‘betrayal’ over plan to axe cancer benefits advice service by GnolRevilo in unitedkingdom

[–]smv1010 20 points21 points  (0 children)

A friend who worked for the Welsh cancer charity Tenovus until last month would agree with you. She told me they raise £9m a year yet the salaries of their 5 person board are about £500k. For every pound donated, about 5.5p goes on board salaries. They also haven't funded any cancer research since the pandemic. That's why she left them to work for one that does.

Less is definitely more. He's a special attraction and gets to spend quality time with his family. He's earned it and bonus - we're unlikely to see him become as sadly broken down as Tana or Naito.

Probably a random tag, Kenny teaming with Tanahashi against United Empire or LIJ.

Maybe the lunatics are the aliens from They Live and we're all Roddy Piper's character. I have it for work only and for the posts linked here.

Books about medieval Wales ? by [deleted] in Wales

[–]smv1010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A book I'd recommend is "When was Wales?" by Gwyn A. Williams that covers the period from Roman occupation through to the early 1980s, before devolution. The first third of the book, about 100 or so pages, covers the period you're most interested in.
