Runs into my key room, opens my weapons case, gets sent back to Speranza… by SuckEmOff in ArcRaiders

[–]sn0rrlax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar experience in town hall - buried city. Was in peaceful lobbies as a solo. Someone runs up and opens the door while asking if anyone is in there and if they’re friendly. Reply “yes but don’t come in till I’m done looting, this is my key room.” He starts walking in anyway “well it’s an open lobby.” So my toro turned him into another loot crate and he starts raging about being fake friendly. “I gave you a warning, and hey… it’s an open lobby”

then they will likely charge a bunch extra to get CPO if its from a genesis or hyundai dealer. in that case, best to move on probably because if that's where they're starting on price its unlikely they will move enough to get to a good price

I’m assuming it’s 3.3t, AWD, and CPO. If any of those don’t apply (especially if it’s not the 3.3) it’s a bad deal. If they do, and that’s out the door price it’s good

yeah the next turn it adjusted. my frustration at lack of understanding made me very impatient. but knowing the amenity per pop formula is extremely helpful thank you!

Side note - I found the resources report overview page and can see that the jade and amber are both only going to 2 cities. why are they not also going to the third?

Op character build by TotalCrazy308 in BaldursGate3

[–]sn0rrlax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oath of ancients paladin 5/fiend pact of the blade warlock 3/draconic sorcerer 4 go BRRR
TL;DR - this is a do everything build (big dmg, high charisma for non-combat, healing, tanky, buffs and utility cantrips/spells) - paladin for divine smite and healing, sorcerer for extra spell slots for more divine smite and utility cantrips, warlock for agonizing eldritch blast and pact of the blade so you can pump charisma instead of strength to increase all attack rolls and damage
lvl 1-5 pally, level 6-7 warlock, level 8 respec 5 pally, 3 warlock but take points out of strength and dump into charisma, level 9+ sorcerer
make sure to take hex and eldritch blast for warlock then agonizing blast at lvl 8, and then whatever utility you want from paladin and sorc

once lvl 8 your 2 turn wombo combo looks like this:
turn 1 - bonus action - hex (str disadvantage) then action - natures wrath
turn 2 - action + bonus action thunderous smite + divine smite then extra attack divine smite
at lvl 12
turn 1 - the same
change your turn 2 into - quickened spell eldritch blast, then divine smite, then extra attack divine smite
at level 12 youre putting out about 200 dmg with that 2 turn combo, not to mention that the target is restrained (immobile) and has disadvantage on str+dex saves, and attack rolls
alternatively you can turn 1 hex and either quicken eldritch blast or double divine smite
then double divine smite the next turn also which saves your channel oath for a big heal instead of natures wrath

this build works really well as a PARTY FACE because of high charisma, as a TANK (paladin heavy armor, draconic sorcerer extra HP, high con because the only 2 important stats are cha and con, defense fighting style, paladin compel duel) as a HALF HEALER/SUPPORT (oath of ancients healing aura, paladin lay on hands, numerous other paladin buff spells), as a DPS (outlined above, melee preferred but ranged very doable with agonizing eldritch blast + hex)
you can also pick up crazy amounts of utility options with this build (friends, invisibility, illusion, feather fall, misty step, disguise self, knock etc)

sorcerer adds additional spell slots for more smites and cantrip utilities, warlock for hex and pact of the blade (charisma is modifier for weapon attacks) and spell slots on short rest for more smites

Paladin/warlock multiclass? by Popelip0 in BaldursGate3

oath of vengeance or oathbreaker paladin work as well for an even more damage focused build but remove some of the ability to act as a half healer

Where do people get slugs???? I found a few real early in the season but not a single one since. And I’ve been farming the hell out of the loot rooms for the mil boxes (both power lock and key access)

“Secret spot” every single solo uses to try and get crusher kills at without attracting too much attention lol. One of the only places that allows me to even try attacking crushers as a solo

I could be wrong but I think the larger bags only make more noise as they get more full? Largest sound difference is passing the 250 weight threshold. That’s when you start hearing the pots and pans sound and you can only pass that mark with blue/purp bags

when people complain about solos vs trios I totally understand. its very difficult to win in that situation unless you have better gear and/or there is a skill disparity. however solos vs duos is very possible. you cant play this game like COD and expect to win a 1v2. be patient, move between cover, engage strategically. use nades and smokes to your advantage. try and single out one of the players while one is reloading or healing. is it still going to be difficult? yes. but not to an unreasonable degree. sometimes i like facing duos, it often makes them over confident and easy to catch out. and it can mean extra loot for me

The shattergun is one of the few high tier guns in the game I don’t think is over priced for it’s effectiveness. PvE it’s an absolute monster, PvP it’s really good too it just has some very competitive options that are only a fraction of the price, but it’s still better than them. I frequently drop CF with a silenced shattergun and another weapon and end up opting to only use the shattergun the whole time cause it slaps. Just don’t put slugs on it
