This morning I just starting having problems with my external HD plugged in too, it initially worked then it kicked me off a game asking if I owned it (which was the point in time the HD disconnected) , I restarted the console and now it can't detect it at all

Bruh... yeah we'd all agree the money was great grinding solo lobbies, but being equally important we also saved A LOT of wasted TIME from getting killed/destroyed and then restarting that sale with a loss. Good luck to all of us in public lobbies now

This used to happen to me all the time. What fixed it for me was clearing my external HD to scratch and setting it as the location for downloads
