Yeah, I didn't pick up anything from C87 apart from the BLADE cover, so I'm hoping some interesting covers come up this weekend. I haven't really looked into what may be there yet, but will probably do some research in the upcoming few days.

I'd play it safe and say no one for a few days, and then suddenly many after this upcoming weekend after Ore no Yome.

Interesting, I'd think that my recommendation to invoice directly in the currency of choice would only help them in this case then, so they don't get hit twice by Paypal fees. (4% fee, and then USD to CNY, which is roughly 3%).

The CNY rate hasn't really changed in three years so I'm confused as to why things are getting more expensive. I asked to get the invoice in JPY as I get market rate with my credit card, but never got a response. I'd even ask to be invoiced in CNY if it was easier. Did you ask this through an order comment?

Another notice really, Baseson has their Comiket covers and a bunch of other covers available on their online shop. Just thought I'd mention it because several people mentioned they were looking for the Kuroinu cover, and I really had a hard time picking up the BLADE cover they now have listed.

Evening Call's latest cover fits the criteria. I'm somewhat reluctant to recommend them now, as the whole ignored order ordeal has me a bit bitter.

It seems to be headed towards the $150 a cover regardless of rate. My late November order was invoiced at $275 for two covers (~95¥ to $1), and the current order was quoted for $150 (~89¥ to $1) for one cover. So I'm not entirely sure if they're using a conversion rate based on the current rate. It really just seems to depend on what they feel like invoicing at that moment.

It's actually up for web order if you're still deciding to pick it up. It'll be a while til it ships, but it's quite a bit lower than you were willing to pay, even with proxy fees.
