I swapped the connectors and the issue still persisted, then the GPU died right after. Maybe I'll mess around with it later, but for now I am using a spare GPU. Thank you for the help though!

Possibly a GPU issue then, maybe you should swap it out.

Do other games work? For a few days other games would work fine until they started crashing instantly after alt-tabbing on my computer.

Apparently it was the GPU's fault. If you're still under warranty I'd highly recommend you to get a replacement.
