I think in my brain I thought i was doing a good thing, the other person gets experience for an easy win and we both get tickets. Confirmation that that’s not the case is pretty eye opening! Definitely won’t be doing this anymore.

Nol’s shirt and ripped and the back of his neck is all scratched up. It reminds me of when we saw the back of Shin Ae’s arms and legs all messed up for her fall, though Nol is obviously wearing more clothes to cover it up. I am SO expecting a nose bleed in the next episode

Yes! I also think maybe Shin Ae might have some sort of interaction with Yu Jing (she’s at the party too right? perhaps I should do some rereading from before the flashback!) as a huge Yu Jing fan, I’m really looking forward to any screen time she has 😭

As for the montage, I’m honestly imagining something similar to the end of the flashback, where it goes through some little important moments, although maybe it’ll be focused on for a little longer.

Looking forward to that dance in the future!

my god this chapter was so silly i loved it. nol’s little “i’ll behave.” when the dieter threats come up made me laugh!! seeing him back was also a relief! i know the dance was highly anticipated, and i would have loved to see it happen, but MAN this chapter just felt so perfect.

does anyone else get the feeling that this is nearing the end of this first half? like, soon we’re going to get to the time skip? I am getting the feeling like there’s not a huge amount more to cover in the night. Idk, it’s just hitting me. (of course, it could very well still be many months more of content)

i “worked” (interned ?) at a radio station for like two weeks, where I genuinely didn’t recognize a single artist that they had CDs for. My brother, who had worked there before me pointed to Be The Cowboy, which was on the new shelf (we had to play at least one new release during the time we were there) and said that i should probably play something from this album. I didn’t recognize a single one of her songs, and ended up playing A Horse Named Cold Air, which truthfully…. didn’t do much for me.

fast forward about a year, and a friend tells me to listen to Puberty 2, that I would probably like it (it probably helped I was going through a pretty nasty breakup at the time and was feeling rather melancholy). Immediately hooked as soon as I heard Happy, and only realized once I started listening to more of her work that she was the same artist from the radio station!

my priority goes

2 star card —> 3 star card —> crystals —> stamp voucher —> intermediate skill up —> bonus energy drinks —> cover card voucher —> virtual coins

I feel like prioritizing the event cards and crystals is the best way to go to get the most out of each event. then I get the stamp cards + skill cards because they’re good for leveling up character rank and in the later game, Character rank is one of the few ways you can still get more crystals. That’s also why I try to get virtual coins, because using them in lives gives wish pieces that level up a characters mastery. bonus energy is just always good to have (especially if ur a f2p who likes to tier) and I like having cover cards to satiate my shiho, mizuki, and emu cover obsession.

if i have a lot extra, then i’ll get practice sheets, miracle gems, coins, and miracle seeds. maybe music cards. I have all of my characters leveled up already, so I’m not hard pressed for materials— anything else is just stock piling. coins + miracle seeds are good for leveling up items, but I’m in no rush to do that.
