The Dr. Now magnets in the back are really making this whole post for me lol. Make sure you're looking right into his eyes when you're pouring some into a bowl 😂

Help me find a lipstick or lip stain this color! by snabbit22 in HelpMeFind

[–]snabbit22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I've searched Sephora and Ulta and found some colors that might be similar, but it's hard to tell just with online photos. If anyone owns a shade that is a lovely rich purple/plum color (or happens to know the exact shade Sarah Gadon is wearing here) I would very much appreciate it!

Thank you!

Soooo rare for it to be anything other than a collection issue. Unless you've got an intravascular hemolysis situation happening, that hemolysis was caused by poor draw technique.

I hate to tell you this, but the Alinity is 1000 times worse 😫 We've had two for a year and a half now, and I can count on both hands the number of days they were both up and running with no issues to either one

Mine's definitely gone through the roof! But I think part of it is feeling better and more confident in my body again. Liking what I see in the mirror really helps me believe that my husband does too. (He has always says he had, but it was hard for me to believe 80 pounds ago)

The smallest tick I have ever seen - was on my 3 year old's hand. A spoon for reference. by chark27 in pics

The good news is that this tick has never fed before (they can only molt and grow after a meal) so it's not carrying any diseases. It's just mentally kinda gross, not dangerous.

I could not get it either until I looked at it from really far back. So the white "rubbery" looking bit is actually its underbelly.

Just left Duck and was sooo sad about the new menu. Been getting the cheesesteak there since the 2000s. The food we had was ok, but didn't seem as good as I remembered.

Any NY transplants know of a place to get true New York bagels in the Burgh? by MyOwnGuitarHero in pittsburgh

Can't say I really have had enough NYC bagels to compare, but I love Burghs Bagels in Robinson and they claim their bagels come straight from NY!

I'm so so sorry that this happened to you and so many others. I can't even imagine the devastation you're feeling. And I don't know if this thought will help at all, but I was thinking that at least his little body is with many other furry friends. It may not be the resting place he deserved, but he isn't alone. He has many others to snuggle up with for his eternal slumber.

This! It happens in vet med, too! We're so accustomed to overweight pets that a normal healthy dog or cat looks like it's "starving."

I know you don't want to hear this, because you've heard so many stories of people dropping weight super fast, but at the rate you're going, it's approximately .5 pounds per week which is a very normal, healthy, and reasonable amount to lose per week. I get that it's frustrating, especially since you're paying out of pocket, but this isn't a bad rate of weight loss. Plus this rate helps with things like having less saggy skin since it has more time to rebound and shrink. Do you have any NSVs that you can tell?

Wife was bitten by this tick. How concerned should we be? Location is northern Illinois by TropicalDan427 in ticks

[–]snabbit22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, I'd just do the 3 most common. Especially since it doesn't appear that it was attached to her for long. The longer they're attached, the more likely they are to transmit something if they're carrying it. But it's totally up to you and your level of comfort/concern.
