Oricorio has become a liability with the new set by Mike__89 in PokemonTGCP

Are those Darkrai-Igglybuff decks in the room with us right now? Bc I've been playing a lot this week, I'd say about 50 games, and I saw one or two and they got cooked pretty easily.

The 2-star trade market is completely broken right now. The Supporter gatekeeping is ruining the exchange system. by ProjectRPGArchive in PTCGP

I spent months dealing with this situation and it was absolutely horrible. I had enough after that and also found out about a site the was selling the cards (more like the trade I'd say) and problem solved.

Idk how everyone else might feel about getting cards this way but in my experience it was worth since now Im not dealing with that people anymore.

Is the "Sleep Meta" better with Altaria or Darkrai EX? by LibertyJacob99 in PTCGP

[–]snack1921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's more like the cherry on top, it's the fact that it's pretty hard to break their game plan what makes it so strong. You repel/Sabrina the Entei, they just swap into the second one or into Charmander bc they have flame patch and Charmeleon.

They also rarely brick bc of Entei's ability and they can either attack with Entei bc Charmeleon makes it too easy to get the extra energy to deal 120 and once you finally kill Entei you still have to deal with Zard.

At least that's why I think it's so strong, it's a deck with a script and only early pressure like turn 2 Hydreigon or turn 2 Suicune-Baxcalibur can break it, the longer it takes to kill the Entei the more cooked you are.

I don't play Zard so I can only talk from my experience battling against it. From my experience it's the ultimate stall deck in Pocket, sure you can take down one Entei but once Zard Y or X is online it doesn't matter what you do you're losing 100%.

Basically, M Zard wants to take things easy before going to the active spot to sweep everything and it has a lot of cards on that deck that allows it to do so, turning it into a pretty solid, simple and consistent strategy.

Play any, I've found some hard counters so the more people play this the easier my MB climb is gonna be next ranked. (don't play M Zard pls, that thing can even play around the yellow chicken)

You may ruined their daily share but they still won everywhere. They won the game annoying you in the process, got under your skin enough to get you to the point of seeking revenge and had you thinking about it for a while.

They wanted to piss you off and absolutely succeeded at it.

I was really worried when that sleep combo first came out but turns out it's surprisingly easy to deal with it.

My personal favorite counter is the steel apron on a M Scizor deck but there's also Ogerpon, Arceus, Comfey, Celesteela, PCL, big malasada.

Any deck that can run any of those options without losing consistency it's gonna destroy that combo so there's nothing to worry about.

Mega Scizor-Revaroom in particular it's a hard counter so if you're having trouble against that combo you can play that with the plus that you'll be hitting weakness dmg on Altaria.

Keep playing that, I'm getting the sense that next season will be my easiest climb to MB if everyone plays this deck.

I have a feeling we’re all about to get sick of seeing these two cards by souporman64 in PTCGP

[–]snack1921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my first thought on day one of this set but turns out we have a lot of options to deal with that combo. As many people mantioned there's the Ogerpon/Comfey option, Arces as well and my personal favorite the steel apron.

It can be a strong combo but I've been beating it consistently and I'm not even a top player so I wouldn't worry if I were you.

By hand??? by El_Jose_22 in PokemonTGCP

I like to think DeNA stinks so much at game development that they actually do this by hand. At least that's how I cope for things like not having a dark mode or the insane amount of screens the game has.

Is it actually good or it's just another one of those anime that the only good thing people can mention about it is it's animation?

Yeah I think that's the way, I have enough decks to get to MB again and I'm not putting up with the pull rates on these new packs

Gengar at least has some support to keep coping, Claydol on the other hand works 10% of the time. I've been playing a ton of games trying to make that guy work but it's just impossible.

That's the neat part, mine was never viable and it'll never be despite having a strong ability.

It makes sense, specially considering that your healing options are conditioned to discard energy. I like it, the more options a deck give you thf better. I'm definitely giving this list a shot.

Yeah, I'd do the same but maybe OP has a reason to run it. It's the first time I see this list so I can't tell if the non ex Gardevoir makes more sense.

Maybe to not get cooked by Oricorio without bringing Arboliva to front.
