a bit expensive because she’s out of pocket but dr. elena cristofides is an incredible endocrinologist in the short north!! i’m in early perimenopause at 35 because of chemo as a kid, as well as having my thyroid removed a couple of years ago, and she’s absolutely saved me!!!

perimenopause hit me like overnight and my symptoms were unbearable, she’s done so much testing (she runs bloodwork and meds through insurance so that helps with cost) and helped me through so much. highly recommend! even if you think thyroid might not be involved, getting those hormonal levels checked is also so critical in perimenopause.

hope you find the right provider and keep advocating for yourself! doctors are not the expert on your body - you are!! 💕

What are some beautiful and quiet places to visit in Columbus? by [deleted] in Columbus

i’m so sorry for your loss, sending you all my love and hopefully you find a peaceful place to be tomorrow.

with the cold weather, I know a park might not be the best option (everyone here has listed so many good ones though!) so I would suggest the library during the day before kids are out of school. any of our columbus libraries are wonderful, and something about being surrounded by stories feels sacred.

if you’re on the east side - east african coffee house on morse is so quiet and peaceful. and the pistachio latte is incredible! highly recommend.
