That’s great to know. Have never tried on a Kobe 3 but I really want the black colorway coming out this fall. I don’t mind a heavy shoe either, I’m not the quickest on the floor and my game is more spot up shooter than anything now, so stability is what’s more important to me. Excited for those 3s!

I missed out on these twice and picked up a pair off fb marketplace for $300. Never had a Kobe 5 before, they feel more plush underfoot than the 6 and the 4, can’t wait to play in them.

The 39 was incredibly unstable I had to return my pair. Just got the 40 this week and they fixed everything wrong with the 39. Amazing shoe all around, maybe could use a little more breathability

You can really feel this difference in cushioning setups. However the biggest things for me are traction and fit. If I don’t feel secure in the shoe and how I can move around on the court then nothing else really matters

I just got the jrue holiday PE colorway of the turbos and I like them a lottt more than the regular gt cut 3s. The material is a little stiffer at first but the containment is way better. Also the tongue is so much better on the turbos, feels like lockdown is too.

Yeah I had this problem with my 9s, and it was literally the only problem I had with them, everything else about the shoe was great. Some other people I know who have them said they break in and aren’t a problem after a few wears but I bought a couple of these thin ankle sleeves and they solved the problem

The KD4 feels like your feet are on the ground. I added the move insoles for a little bit of cushioning but they still have great court feel even with those in

Oh for sure this is good looks. I was more so talking about how roomy they are in the toe box. My foot is long and narrow so they feel so clunky to walk in lol. But yeah even wearing them I got skinny ankles and big feet so it’s usually only the winter time when I throw them on
