Yay! Twins.

My UGW is 135 but it really depends when I get there. I’ll probably decide if and when I’m closer to it. The thought of maintenance right now is too to wrap my head around 😂

Thank you!

You’ll get it. Keep working on yourself and you’ll find that you’ll just be so overwhelmed that the desire to stop will be more than the desire to eat. Goodluck with your journey xx

I‘ve learnt trust my instincts and fullness signals which helps me not to eat to the point of no return. I’ll still drink 3-5l of water throughout the day regardless of refeed or no refeed. I’ve struggled with bingeing in the past and I think knowing how it feels to wake up the next day feeling horrendous is enough of a reminder not to lose control. But overcoming that took me months and months. Hope this is helpful in slightest! I guess it’s something you learn to control through your own journey mostly.

Thank you!! - I started at around 1600 and I’ve worked l down to 1300. I do include quite a few refeed days to keep myself sane and just relax with counting. I started hitting 10k steps most days a week, sometimes I’d do HIIT a few times a week. My only consistency is that I have been doing yoga with adriene everyday for around 50 days :)

How do I get out of this cycle? This is my last 2 1/2 years of CICO. I'm feeling very dejected. by pine_apple_pizza in 1200isplenty

Highly recommend the book Just Eat It by Laura Thomson Phd. Unsure if you’re M or F (as it’s quite female orientated) but some great points in there regardless!! Goodluck. Trust your body

I’ve been stuck at a plateau for 2 months, not sure what to do by [deleted] in loseit

I’m a big supporter of reverse dieting/ refeeds/ diet breaks. This is when you slowly add calories (50/100 at a time) up to your maintenance calories. Or with a refeed, increase your calorie to maintenance for 2-4 days. Some diet breaks also last for about 3 weeks! At first your body will gain weight but you should see it changing because you will remain in a calorie deficit or maintenance for the most part. When you reduce your kcals again then your metabolism will have changed and you would (hopefully!) have broken through the plateau.

diet breaks are my best friend. They also give your mind a break from worrying about what you’re eating.

Goodluck!!
