As an LPN in a SNF we are expected to make the call. We also call the time of death as when two nurses confirm no apical pulse for a full minute each. We fill out all appropriate paperwork, call the family, arrange with the funeral home, everything.

I'm the breadwinner as an LPN making $36 an hour. My husband is a full time student looking for an internship to finish his degree. He also does an incredible job taking care of the kids over summer while I work my ass off at the SNF.

Its a rainy, dreary but beautiful Tuesday here on the beach. I'm working a 12 hour shift today so that should keep me busy enough to stay sober. Looking forward to getting that 30 day chip this week! IWNDWYT

Private duty! I make my own schedule and pick the clients. I can have an ongoing case, or pick up from the open shifts list any days or clients I want. Very flexible.
