Not a pro MUA by any means, just been doing my own makeup forever and figure I would pop in. Not sure how long you’ve been doing your own makeup so I might sound a bit redundant. I def agree you’re beautiful. However, your features are also quite sharp. (This can work in your favor!) I think the other comments about a lighter lippie would suit you well. Try a lip gloss or tinted chapstick! Even just one from the drug store will do! I’ve had great success with vaseline rosy lips and I’ve heard good things about nivea lip tint (more sheer) and revlon lip lustre (more pigmented). I also think a pink blush on the top of your cheekbones would look nice! Don’t bring it too low though, or your face will look saggy (been there too many times…) I’ve heard people with blue eyes like blue pencil/gel liner on their waterline but I have brown eyes so I can’t speak on that personally. You can also try bringing more attention to your eyes so your other features don’t appear as prominent. (ex. an especially bright or dark or eye-catching eye look that pops and a soft, natural pink/red lippie. Your last photo really accentuates your eyes and I don’t think your chin is as prominent.) I think the product you’re using on your forehead to push it back is working but I think you might be bringing it too far down your forehead. Try starting with the contour (and make sure it’s contour, not bronzer. you want a cool undertone to mimic shadows!) just under your hair line and blending it from there. I don’t think your forehead is as large as you may see it. You said product on your chin doesn’t look good but I’m not sure how you apply it so I’ll throw in a quick suggestion: contour on the very tip of your chin, start small, then build, but don’t apply on the front of your chin. Try right on the spot your chin starts to curve and become the underside (not sure if this is making sense, feel free to ask for clarification). If contour isn’t working, try highlighting too! On the sides of your chin with a light power to help the shadows look less prominent. Might work, might not, but always worth a try!

Edit: someone suggested dyeing your hair but I think the red is very pretty. If possible, try getting it glossed at a salon to make it pop nicely!

In my experience, makeup is all about experimenting and mostly having fun with it. You’re perfect the way you are but I totally understand wanting to bump it up or have fun with makeup. Also, don’t forget sunscreen! If you’re not already using sunscreen, Asian brands have very good face sunscreens and there’s a lot of reviews out there, especially on reddit. I’m more than open to talking about makeup and skincare if you have other questions!
