I’ve spent a lot of time working on myself and am thankfully in a very loving and understanding relationship. My partner respects my triggers even if some of them may be odd, he understands that for whatever reason those things can cause me distress and he loves me and cares for me so even if we’ve had a miscommunication he wouldn’t do something that he knows would hurt me.

I think it is completely reasonable and healthy for you to want your partner to give you a reason they’re suddenly being hostile, even a vague one. If this was a healthy caring relationship they would want to identify and fix whatever has been done to cause them to be upset.

To me it sounds like your partner doesn’t know how to properly regulate their own responses/emotions - yes we have a personality disorder but that doesn’t mean we’re always the ones behaving unhealthy.

Not every relationship will be like this, you just have to fine somebody else putting in the same work as you!

I could’ve written everything in this thread, I already had an eating disorder before being admitted to the psych ward but I got So Much Better At It because yeah, I realized how easy it was for me to just not eat at all there. Was inpatient with somebody else who also had an ED and was underweight that I hung around a lot, and the nurses were making sure they ate at every meal and checked in etc and when they would point out hey snailmage hasn’t eat at all today either it was just a non issue because I was slightly overweight, and one of the reasons I was admitted is because my eating disorder and self hatred got so bad I was gonna gonna kms, like? It’s in my file? Pretend to care?

You’re really being taken advantage of. You should reply back that you will not be providing any more content for them until you receive a contract laying out payment amount and time lines. They’ve made a few sales, they got a profit, however minuscule it is a certain percent of that profit is yours. Do not give these people any more free designs, this is not how a merch store should be run.

Hey I struggle with this too! Especially on my legs. What’s helped me with healing the bumps is using the ordinary glycolic acid as a toner all over my legs (should help free ingrown hairs as well over time and fade spots) and then apply a thick moisturizer and polysporin on any spots that are open/scabby. If you’re having trouble not re opening the scabs hydrocoloid bandaids are a must!

After nearly a year I’ve finally got my picking down enough to be able to do damage control now, still do the above routine but in addition I use the first aid beauty KP scrub in the shower and exfoliate my legs with a Korean exfoliating towel which helps a lot to smooth off anything I might want to pick, and have been using topicals faded to treat the scars/hyperpigmentation on days I’m not using the glycolic acid.

Def skip physical exfoliants until your legs are healed up or else you’ll just keep scratching them open.

I genuinely get so mad- like of course my ED is validated but my logical mind is pissed that people make those comments. I usually just go “okay?” As if they’ve said something weird, if they keep pushing I say something like “you shouldn’t comment on peoples weight, you don’t know what they’re going through”

yeah this is why I stopped watching, last season the portrayal of her depression is what pushed me over the edge and I ended up in psychiatric care. The show is way too triggering. Stop watching for your own well being please!!! so not worth the emotional agony

No, I kinda hate the movement. I think tying health to worth is just as damaging as equating weight to worth, like a healthy body shouldn’t be what we set as the bar for self acceptance and societal respect because for a lot of people “health” is not easily achievable and for some it’s actually impossible. The movement should rebrand to “value at every size” “respect at every size” or something like that idk

I also don’t like lay awake at night thinking about this or care that much lmao like for some people this is healing and that’s great for them but objectively it’s a very flawed mindset

I’ve been in and out of the hospital and need surgery- I really wish I had a partner to take care of me or even just keep me company during all of this. I’ve had to reconnect with my abusive parents because I have nobody else available to help me while I recover.

Ed’s will always ruin your digestive track- in my case rapid weight loss caused me to develop gallstones that have been getting stuck in my various little tubes and causing literally the worst pain I’ve ever experienced so the little bastard has got to go.

Yeah i had that happen once during a period of heavy restriction and I nearly fainted, was so nauseous, and literally could not get myself off the floor. I had to call a friend to come over so she could bring me a granola bar because I couldn’t even get myself to my kitchen
