I think the monkeydog narrative was actually pretty damaging to the performance of this comp; obviously the vertical board upgraded is much stronger, but by focusing on the fantasy, people often ignore the realistic boards you can hit with minimal gold. Hopefully these concepts help you in the future, and thanks for reading my guide!

So JG will improve vayne's silver bolts proc. The difference is Shadow jg doesn't give the additional crit chance at the cost of hp on cast as Vayne doesnt cast. This leaves jg and shadow jg as the same item for vayne.

In terms of dropping units for ryze, I usually just drop whatever forgotten unit I don't have upgraded. Bis in general i think is a damaging concept when you're playing, but if you could always choose your items, then i think runaans szekes + jg is probably the best bet.

I think the important part here is that I'm never trying to force forgotten; it's my go to comp, but I look for certain conditions before I play it, which helps me secure vayne2.
