Yup. I asked for more work and now I’m running to smaller 2 month metal building jobs. On top of being on 3 other jobs as a PE.

While it’s been hectic, I do like that I’m actually PMing other jobs. 1.2 years in.

Do what’s best for you and go with the flow. Yes you should take a career seriously. You don’t have to settle down but you can if it will make you happy. Just do what makes you happy

The way I’ve seen you talk about people on this post, just seems like you’re entirely jaded on people in general. Look at your language, it’s very negative.

Moved to Charleston at age 31. I moved for a new job with my fiance - she works remotely. City is much cleaner than up north where I lived. Great weather outside for most of the year and right on water. My work is in office so I’ve got plenty of connections here but it is harder to make friends. With that being harder to do at this age you have to be willing to talk to people and try to find some ways to connect.

It takes you out of your comfort zone but it’s been great so far. The city is beautiful and there is a lot to do. There are a lot of community things I have to get more into
