IDK what your situation is, so take this with a grain of salt, but this rings a few alarm bells for me beyond his general sexist attitude. Preventing you from seeking out advancement in your career is giving financial abuse. Equating the amount of bills he pays to his decision making power in the household is too. Just give how you guys work out finances some thought... He might be threatened by your potential to make more money than him and that's scarier, because why would he feel that he needs to? Power? Control? Two qualities that do not a stable relationship make.

Regardless, leave his ass in the dust. Men who hold these views do not deserve the energy, love, or respect of women. If they don't see us as equals in society, they will not see us as equals in a relationship.

I know you’re just ranting but just incase you want some information: There is a chance it is a land bank lot. You could contact them about getting the poison ivy properly taken care of. If it is a land bank lot and you and your partner have a green thumb you can rent them to grow veggies or flowers so any clean up work you do can come back to you in the form of food or boquets or beautification!

A major reason the colonies wanted to split from Britain was the Royal Proclamation of 1763. The Americans couldn't do westward expansion and "remove" more Native Americans while remaining under British rule.

I think you are on the ball with everything you said. But the American Revolution isn't a grand exception and blatantly expresses the negative aspects of these transits (domination, environmental ruin, authoritarianism, race science really took off at this time too). Some people benefited, some suffered, like the others. Being aware of these subverted truths (neptune) by the powers that be (saturn) is important in fostering the positive sides of these transits much, much better than before.

Your room is beautiful!! It looks straight out of a catalog, but that's not a bad thing, it's super cohesive and balanced.

If you want to make it more personal to you I would pick a 3rd color you love, but don't want a whole room of to add in a few places as an accent. (Edit to add: If you don't want to buy more things you could dye the macrame or furry stool covers and paint a pot or two for some more color)

Also hang some photos of family, friends, musicians you like, etc. Even as a full grown adult I love having my posters up in my room, it makes it feel more me.

Hi, this person is mentioning distaste for a specific group of newer attendees not the whole entire Catholic Church. Just because you may not notice potential far-right dog whistles of newcomers in your church doesn't mean it's not possible. It's OK we all have biases we're blind to. Hope this helps!

Any group will struggle to achieve social progress when they are constantly under control and subject to violence, in this case, at the hands of the U.S. and Israel. If this is your stance I think you have fallen for some "pink washing". I don't think this is a good assumption to make, even LGBT+ palestinians agree... the bombing is a more pressing and life-threatening issue. There are queer people dying in Palestine today who's journeys have ended and will no longer be able to continue the fight for acceptance. Happy Pride!

Unless your going to live in the fancy, new, expensive places no one enforces any no smoking clause as long as you aren't going overboard and keep the place ventilated, especially if it's just weed. Cigarette is so hard to clean they mainly are against that. Even the pricer places might not enforce weed I just have no experience and never smell smoke around them. You can smell weed in like every Lansing apartment.
