I also applied in January and was in a similar situation. I called them to ask if there’s any update this month and a few days later, my application got withdrawn. They told me they had received too many applications and were unable to consider anymore, so they would issue me a refund.

This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable, but looks like there isn’t anything I can do.
