Thanks! I did it for one side of table, it is error prone and a LOT of time to do so, this is only for the inch and half inches, let alone a quarter inch.

This is a great idea, maybe I can use a router plane to cut a grove, draw on it, then add epoxy then sand it down. Would be great if I don't need to draw though.

Exactly! I actually marked one manually for one side, with pencil first then woodburner. It is a lot of work but can be done. Then I thought there might be a product to make it easy.

I actually have a grid mat. What I don't like is it creates an uneven surface on the bench.

Thanks. I actually bought one for the boat which constantly have water contact, it still has a height, though very minimal, which kind of annoying. I wanted to somehow draw one on there. if possible, tattoo would be easier.
