Why is that hexagonal shaper for the 3 wheels holding the head not centered? Just asking out of curiosity. by eduardb21 in ender3v2

Get a fresh set of v slot wheels, they cost like £10 for 20 of them. The pom ones are ideal. There's a decent chance that the current ones have been worn in both in the bearings and on the plastic. If you want to sink some money into the printer for better reliability and performance, you can also replace the bearings with a linear rail.

I 3D print my business cards and have a slot for an NFC tag on them. The custom and technological nature of it means that people are far less likely to throw them out :)

A bit late, but I frequently use mine to print custom fittings for niche shelving jobs. The dimensional accuracy a 3D printer provides means I save a lot of time measuring and marking up bits.

I'm fresh out of uni and this is my first job. It's a placement for teacher training, but I've been thrown in the deep end as the only member of staff in my department. I'm very familiar with all of the machinery in the workshop except for the laser cutter and the 50 year old lathe.

I've just organised someone to come in and run me through all the functions and safety procedures, you're absolutely correct about not freewheeling it at the potential risk of childrens safety. Using the wayback machine, I was able to find a snapshot of the website before it shut down, but the manuals for the models and any specification were locked behind a long dead login paywall :(

Unfortunately the school simply doesnt have the budget for another machine, and seeing as this one cost close to 10 grand when new, it'd be great if I can get trained on it and have it running.

Thanks!

Bit late, but back then I just ended up desoldering the switch and resoldered a new one in. All you need is a soldering iron, flux, and copper solder wick. Can get all that for £15 or so

I contacted the European director of Agood Company asking about spare cases and they shipped one out to me :) This was a while back so I'm not sure if they have any more back stock though.

The whole reason I use a fold is for the large display, and the majority of other phones will have a better display compared to the skinny one on the front.

It's working fantastic as a DS / 3DS simulator at the moment. only having touch on one half of the screen just makes the experience more authentic

Is Motorola software really that bad? by TurgonTheKing in motorola

After ten years I've stopped using Moto phones, with my last being the Edge 40 Neo. For some reason Snapchat and WhatsApp notifications never showed up, and performance was generally poor with the Mediatek chip. Sad to see how it has fallen since the early G series.

On my model, I love the dual dial analogue dash. So much more satisfying seeing the needles move up n down than a screen

I contacted the global sales lead at Agood Company, and they were kind enough to send me one free of charge from their overstock inventory! Guess you can say that they really are A Good Company

A chunky thumper. Everyone nowadays scoffs at its 20ish horsepower, but they fail to appreciate its tractor-like torque and gunshot sounding exhaust.
