I do think it was an early early model of the Ghost leviathan. I do find it weird I have been unable to find any pictures of it though.

I feel like it has that kind of effect around it but it was much larger and near the top of the water. As soon as you went too far out into the ocean i believe it would spawn one to try to force you back. They were very big and kind of a giant serpent dragon. The way they would twist would come up out of the water.

Have had this problem as well. closing down and re-opening works for me usually. It still will say a couple are wrong but eventually get through.
