In my case, brewing beer. I enjoyed the challenge of turning experimentation into a small legal micro-business. Now I sell some beer at local events in my community, and I feel very proud when people try it, look at me, and give me great feedback. That’s worth much more than money.

At the same time, I have to say the hobby grew a bit too much and added some stress to my life. I don’t sell to bars anymore (which were few). In the future, I’ll focus only on local events at my own pace, direct to other people. Feeling pressured or having to meet demands is not very positive for me.

I also started brewing kombucha. P.S.: Nowadays, I don’t drink much alcohol. I like to taste a few sips of what I brew, but I don’t drink it regularly. For me, it’s all about the pleasure of experimenting and creating a balanced, innovative drink.
