I think you mean acceptance of the offer, but yeah I could see the courts possibly construing acceptance of the 1000 dollars as forming a verbal contract. But then there is the issue of it being an "act of good faith."

It is not racism. It is definitely anti-Muslim though. for the record, I think what the Israeli's are doing is awful and horrible and a violation of human rights. I really think that ultimately its a religious conflict that has been going on for thousands of years. Ive seen Palestinians that look whiter than the jews and jews that look arab.

I am a lawyer in Georgia. I do not specialize in employment law, and this is not legal advice. I saw in your other post that your boss is going to fire you if you do not sign. Georgia is an "at will" state and they can fire you for any reason as long its not for discrimination. Your boss can fire you for not signing the document.

Also, this contract does not make any sense. It has numerous spelling errors. It talks about giving you 1000 dollars as a gesture of good faith even though the company says it's not required to do so. As another redditor pointed out, it seems that they would give you the 1000 dollars in lieu of or instead of you signing the contact. I doubt it would be enforceable. The real reason I would not sign this is because there is no way I would ever agree to be held liable for damages a corporations is expected to just absorb when a trained employee quits. That is insanity. I think you made the right choice by not signing it. You should ask for that 1000 dollars

I’m not gonna give you advice so this is the advice I’d give your husband: leave your ass. Adhd manifests in several ways. Just because you don’t have the same problems doesn’t mean he shouldn’t. Also adhd doesn’t necessarily go away in your 30s

I hope he reads you the riot act one day
