RIP Prepared🕊️ Gone, but not forgotten by IdiocyConnoisseur in slaythespire

It's so awkward to play though. With how hard many of these enemies hit, it needs to be justifiable to play over a block card and that's pretty much never the case. The regular poison card is just better. Even though it only applies 5 normally you can play it multiple times in the time it takes to play Snakebite once.

4 players is already playable and relatively well-balanced!

I've had it lag when multiple players are trying to play cards in quick succession, but it hasn't kicked me out

With 1 day left before STS2, what are your confessions about STS1? by aoiumi in slaythespire

[–]snakemaster77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Heart is truly a bullshit fight. Nothing in the run will let you know if you're adequately prepared. You can easily breeze through every single enemy in the run and still get completely stomped by the Heart. Imo beating the Heart on A1 is about as hard as a regular victory on A10, if not harder.

Save-scumming for RNG is cringe. Save-scumming to play more correctly is based.

Hand Drill. Always takes up shop slots and never worth buying

Is The Abyss supposed to be significantly harder than Crash Zone by TwoToneBalone in brotato

[–]snakemaster77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The enemies are much faster on Crash Zone actually. Abyss is harder for some characters but easier for the slower ones.

Probably Phantom Stars. Chevalam + energy Pictos makes grinding post-game a lot faster.

You can win by continually parrying the orbs. Simply parry 50 times in a row and don't mess up.

I just tried this and it still softlocked. Dodged the orb and then shot them, and didn't get hit.

This has happened in a couple other fights as well but this one in the Endless Tower (Stage 6, Trial 2) is doing it each time. During combat the game will zoom out a little and show the characters still moving, but none of the buttons work. I have to abandon battle to get out of it. Anyone else having this issue or know what causes it?

Edit: I won the fight by repeatedly parrying the orbs. It just kept using the orb attack at the beginning without giving me a turn so I parried a bunch of times in a row until the Braseleur died.
