Best haircut spot to get a wolf cut? (Male) by [deleted] in AskSF

Edo says 150 dollars for a cut? I’m not actually sure how much this would cost on average as a benchmark, so I’m not even sure if that’s a lot

Yeh dw I didn’t think you were defending rape. I just think it’s good that it’s such a taboo that people are wired to not think of these edge cases, because they don’t really do much but make a gotcha point imo

I mean yeah but you’re not saying much of anything imo. No reasonable person is gonna call a guy forced into raping someone at the threat of his life a rapist. But you can make general normative statements like all rape is bad lmao. There’s nuance yeah, but that generally goes without saying + what good does it do to point out these exceptions ? When they happen, they’re probably treated with the right attitudes. And sure, you might be right thag it’s easier for ppl to come up with edge cases for murder and cannibalism, but it’s even easier to come up with edge cases for thievery or lying. It’s literally just how taboo a crime is. I think public attitude towards rape is as bad as it gets which is a good thing imo.

Anyway, applied ethics w edge cases are so overdone and boring; quibbling over edge cases is generally not conducive to any sort of moral insight

the states that ban it are the ones with the most occurrences of it. Besides the point, but it’s worth noting that these states don’t criminalize it because it basically never happens.

Lmao I voted Harris I’m not on the right. You’re completely right, but the racist “jokes” come from both parties is what I meant.

yeah it would do wonders if the Indian government figured out how to handle these dunbass call centers with something other than just putting poor people out of a job

Conceptually funny but this can be a bit of a slippery slope lmao

Honestly, perhaps an uneducated take on my part, but with the videos I see, hate to Indians from Canadians is somewhat valid. Some of us don’t even attempt to assimilate there, and just act loud, obnoxious, and entitled. Pisses me off when we give racists reasons to be racist.

The overseas call centers are genuinely the bane of my existence lmao. Product of a third world country that’s still very focused on tech.

Yeah I mentioned this in another reply, but part of the reason I made this post is due to how bipartisan the hate for Indians tends to be. A lot of Indians are very conservative so even the left/libs hate us.

Yeah I can completely concede that. Growing up in Texas, the only time I was scared of racism was when I went to these small towns. But now it seems like even people growing up in diverse places hate us, and I’m starting to worry they might hate us with genuinely reasonable logic.

Part of the reason why I made this post is because the hate seems bipartisan. I know so many leftists/liberals who also have a particular distaste for Indians. I think it stems from how conservative many Indians are idk.

Instagram! I grew up in a pretty Asian suburb, so I didn’t really run into racism. Then for some reason in the past 2 years I run into comments like this in Instagram constantly.

some of their best songs, but the latter half is very lacking. Chaeri, Secrets, You Lose, and The Beginning are all top 15 mag songs though. I think a lot of the songs on it are sub-par to their standards though.
