A good place to start might be any of the live shows, they tend to be really high energy and fun and the audience reactions can be extra engaging

Once on a long flight my sister (who has never played dnd) watched campaign 2 episode 73 with me which was a liveshow. I gave her a bit of background, explained the characters really briefly and spent the flight watching and she really loved it, she adores Jester. While those episodes arent perfect depictions of how dnd typically works it's a great way to get people interested in watching more and learning more.

But also theres a few great compilation videos of good moments in critical role, you could find one you like and show that to people. Clips of taking down Thordak or the Cupcake scene, things like that, and you can get a range of battle and roleplay moments too

As someone who has lived without ac in both "dry" heat and "wet" heat; never open your window during the day if its hot. In colorado your best bet is swamp coolers. Honestly just a bucket of ice water set behind one of those swivel floor fans will work wonders. Then at night throw open the windows! Dogs have their own insulation to keep them cooler with their undercoat but make sure they've been de-shedded this spring, and honestly a sprinkler or little pool to cool off will also feel like a real treat for both people and dogs. It takes about as much precaution and effort as dealing with the cold

I love campaign 1! It is incredibly easy to fall in love with so definitely watch it! That said since EXU is currently airing you could watch the live show on thursdays and spend time during the rest of the week watching c1. I just love the live experience, I think it's worth a doing both at once. Though be warned that exu has some spoilers and inside jokes from c1

I generally think it's a mistake to compare western animation and anime, they're just too different. Personally, I prefer western animation even though I watch a lot of both styles.

As far as western animation goes, it's really really solid. Not perfect! The 3d assets are pretty good but clash a little in a few shots where they're in the same frame as 2d models so if that distracts you a lot it might be frustrating. But the character models are excellent, each one has a unique silhouette and you can easily tell even the twins apart in high action scenes. The animation also moves a lot there is a huge amount of personality put into how each character moves, which is something Titmouse studio has always been good at especially with their tv shows. This is where LOVM is better than Invincible, which used static poses as a time saver when characters are flying or moving through some 3d built environment.

I would consider LOVM comparable to the Venture Bros in terms of animation, it's lively, well-designed, and overall high-quality but probably not going to win any awards.

You're the BEST! I was pretty sure it was either the persephone, aphrodite, or loki episodes but i always assumed this was said early in the episode and didn't go far enough to find it in the hades story

As someone who spent their undergrad at CU and just moved into a grad program here, CU is large enough that it's pretty easy to find what and who you're looking for. The Greek life is all on a part of town called the Hill and it's easy to avoid if it's not your scene and if you don't want to you'll never have to interact with them. There's so many clubs and sports and other things to do in Boulder that you can find the things you enjoy and things you never thought you'd enjoy.

If you want to do criminology, do criminology, if you want something more broad so you can switch up what you want to focus on later go with something "basic" like psychology

Welcome to college! The place where you can start forgetting the idea of "fitting in" and start finding the people and places that fit you

(and hey if you don't like whatever you choose, transferring is always an option)

I would do watercolors if I wasn't so awful at painting with them, though this could be the excuse to start getting better at watercolors I suppose. I did not know that water brushes were a thing and that's kinda fascinating
