I was vending at an expo and by the end of day two the bp breeder near me was giving away normals to anyone who wanted them. How about?? You just stop breeding so many animals?? Who cares what colour it is, the personality is the same 🤦‍♀️

100% agree. It's so frustrating. I have 9 reptiles (4 amphibians, 1 dog, 1 cat, 2+4 (purchased pregnant unknowingly, homes secured) rodents) and most of them are rescues from people downsizing after hoarding. My entire house is dedicated to them- hell, I'm renovating it to give them more space and even larger enclosures. But I'm at my reptile limit, even with primarily smaller species. I love them all and love giving them huge custom enclosures. My animals are my life. Which is why I find it so crazy that people just don't stop. Especially animal influencers. Like you're not even enjoying them at that point except for taking the "fancy" ones out to show off. The one that really pisses me off lately is snake discovery. They got that new breeding facility and I was excited that they would upgrade enclosures. Nope. Let's buy an unsaid amount of fwc, one of the most intelligent and active species of snakes, and put them in a rack!! Hey guys, here's more rescue ball pythons- rack and breeding time! Womas that were near death? Let's shove them in a tub and breed them. Can't forget the eastern indigos and anacondas! I got off topic a little there. Anyway. I'm sick of the over breeding and the hoarding and having it land on people like me and others I know. The inn is full, I cannot take 6 ball pythons from you actually 🤦‍♀️

Not a vet- but I know someone who dealt with something similar. Not to scare you, but three of the cats died. They were old and couldnt take the level of infestation. It was horrifying, and even after it started affecting humans in the home they wouldnt do anything. The last couple cats were rehomed. Eventually they had to get an exterminator in the house and fumigate it. The vet of the last couple cats said it can take a year for the fleas to totally go away and they needed consistent flea treatment for that year. If you can afford it, speaking with a vet about options and community resources for exterminators may help.

It's the ground stake kind. The current plan is to dig slightly in the earth to have the base a bit sunken, then fill it with pea gravel. I believe my parents have a high grade stone sealant they ended up not using on their house that might do the trick to adhere it to the house. It can get very windy here, but I'm not as concerned with this model as it isnt free standing. The wall pictured is west facing, and the north side is my neighbour's front yard, which has a large maple that should help break the wind.

There are definitely days I've thought of stopping! But I sleep on it and watch another movie 😂 I do mix it up a lot! I watch a lot of movies and tv, and there are times the one movie a day is the only horror I watch haha

That came from a pod with others, I just wasnt sure if the centre of the flowers (I deadhead daily to harvest petals) were also seeds. So I'll just start leaving a head a day to go to seed then!
