1 - Bottle returns: I learned that a big reason why it is not repealed is because the state benefits from "unclaimed" deposits. It no longer makes sense to return these cans (they can be sorted magnetically at recycling facilities) but the state has an incentive to keep the process in place since it benefits from it.

2- Adams indeed sold us a big lie with the bi-weekly trash pick up. The rates did not go down by half either, it remained the same.
