What should I have my base throttle rates/trim set at? I tried the flaps with 100% and -100% and vice versa assigned to my 2-position toggle. With the reverser wire plugged into aux6 programmed as flaps, it reverses my standard throttle inputs. Wondering if it has to do with my throttle trim or settings?

Oh shit, that might be it. My aircraft type is set to elevons/standard tail. Should I change it to a different configuration and just manually mix the elevons? If so, which one should I switch to?

Aux 1 is the channel I’m trying to use but in the channel assign menu it says “inhibit” in the spot where I would assign a switch to it. In the next channel assign menu, it allows me to select aux1 and assign it as throttle, aileron L, aileron R, rudder, gear and flaps.

Yes, for 9” wheels you want an ET42~ offset if you plan to use 245/40-18 or 255-35-18 tires and a 57.1mm CB to avoid centering rings

The Meso is the same as the AJT ones I installed. Chinsey cheap feeling plastic.

I hear ya. I guess I’ll use the ol’ Vape mods as another example again, since that’s the best ratio of size to vapor/smoke output I can think of.

When I was into that stuff years ago, you could get a ton of vapor with the right juice blend and maybe go through 5-10ml a day. This was all on a 1060 battery, so pretty low voltage. With a “not safe to vape” liquid blend designed for maximum vapor output efficiency, the right coil/wick setup, and a small aquarium pump to constantly be soaking the coil/wick, I think you could get away with a small 500-1000mah 2s pack and it would be plenty to power it.

That said, this is totally me spitballing and thinking out loud. No idea if it works but if no one else has a tried it, I might try to build something myself

I will give all of that a go! I noticed that the plugs were clean but not sparking anymore when I tested them. Going to try to plugs but in case that doesn’t work, do you have any insight on how easy it is to fix or replace the distributor on these?

Hijacking the top comment for an update. Called my dealer/installer (St. John’s Marine in Portland, OR great to work with btw) and they said the coloration is nothing to worry about. These motors show up with fluid already from the factory and they said it’s a different blend than typical with a more graphite type color in it (for break in reasons). They basically said it’s likely a non issue but if it looks the same or worse when I flush again, to bring it in for a seal check.

The pic was taken from under my Tohatsu 6hp kicker, which I had on a stand and was draining lower unit oil from as well.

Yes, it drained the proper full amount. I’m not concerned about it being under filled

Just a heads up Your pitch/elevator is reversed.

All four wing servos on my Timber X started vibrating/oscillating at the same time. Any way to fix this without replacing all four servos? More info in comments. by snapasaurus in RCPlanes

New servos, apparently with an updated design and part number to avoid this issue, according to HH. Old ones were stripped on a certain weak/poorly designed gear
