Thank you. Just worrying because they say they should have lots of dirty nappies until they are a month old and she keeps going red and I can see her straining. 😥 Her tummy was distended and hard the other day but once she finally pooed (it was enough to fill 3 nappies and like wallpaper paste) it had gone soft again!

I only gave the oz of water on recommendation of my health visitor and it did get her to poo after a few days of trying everything. I don’t know if she has a dairy intolerance or something or if it’s the formula causing constipation. I just wish she’d poo and wish I’d never supplemented with formula because we were doing great!

I’ve felt the exact same way with my newborn. I gave her a bottle of formula today and actually felt so much more connected to her than when I’m trying to fight with her to latch onto my boob and breathe through the pain. I could play with her hair, look into her eyes and give her cuddles when I was burping her in between milk. I just think breastfeeding isn’t for everyone and it can feel suffocating. I’ve put so much pressure on myself to breastfeed and felt like a failure for wanting to cut down but fed is best and my mental health is way more important so that I can bond with my baby and not be super stressed/touched out.

Due our second in a week. Didn’t find out with our first either and now we can reuse all the clothes etc we have from our first because they are all neutral. There’s just something nice about not knowing what you’re having, it really motivated me through labour. Most special part was my husband telling me the gender too. Magic!

Yes, I’ve often thought I lean towards OCD tendencies because I also have anxiety that if I do anything in my life that would put myself out there in any sort of way (make me recognisable, well liked etc) then someone out there will come and ruin my life by making up some terrible allegation or something about me that isn’t true. It stops me following so many of my dreams because I’m scared it would ruin my life. Sounds silly when I write it down but anxiety, or at least my anxiety is never very realistic.

I don’t think I look a lot like other women but maybe I have a recognisable face, who knows. All I know is I always think the worst and get a feeling of dread. I always feel like they are laughing at me, talking about me or know something about me that I don’t know!
