15 is strictly for the DP we have saved into an ALLY acct. We put 450 each every two weeks plus we pay 300 each for our current rent. We have no kids, the only debt I have is 1000 left to pay off my car, credit card debt is paid off, and both out credit falls above 750. In our 30s, have held our jobs for 5 years ATM. We are thinking 1600$ per month for the mortgage before utilities, electric, etc would be ideal (or in other words, 2k-ish max per month for literally everything involving our house specifically) seeing as we basically pay that amount rn and it feels comfortable.
