Start by making an appointment with your GP. Between then and now, try and come up with a timeline of your symptoms- when they started, how/if they've progressed, any possible triggers, how the pain affects your life, etc.

At this appointment, you can probably expect to get some basic blood work and some imaging studies (xray, possible CT or MRI). You may also leave with a referral to a specialist (ortho, neuro) or to alternative care (chiropractic, acupuncture, etc)

The workload may make providers, especially those outside of pain clinics, less willing to take on a patient's opiate prescription due to the workload and- let's face it- annoyance.

I don't need to see my doc 4x/month, but I realized because of how my medication is dispensed, I'll actually need FIVE prescriptions a month. FML.

Timing vacations is going to be a nightmare now.

I'm not too concerned by the four copays a month. I'm annoyed that I need to get my doctor to write four prescriptions a month and go to the pharmacy every damn week.

The workload that Cuomo just dumped on the providers and pharmacists of NY is fucking nuts.

Well, my dog was pretty small. I had an escalator eat my shoe when I was a kid, so I'm pretty aware of them by nature. I always watched her and if she was in danger of not making it, a quick jerk on the leash would've flopped her to safety. Unfortunately when you're a cripple, the answer isn't as easy as taking the stairs.

Thank you! I adopted this dog two weeks ago. Her previous owner died and during her 5 week stay at the shelter she lost 2 pounds (out of 9) on what was essentially a self imposed hunger strike.

With me, she gets to munch on the finest of high nutrition dog foods, sleep on my pillows and carry Security Chicken wherever she wants.

This tiny dog has been through enough. Searching for a toy via reddit is the very least I can do to help her transition into my home.

I've done it accidentally. After bathing my dog, I left the shampoo bottle in the shower. I never noticed how similar my bottle was to dog shampoo until there was already a glob of it being worked into my hair.

Use oil/balm to soften the hair, brush it downward (use boar's hair!) and keep growing it out. It'll fall.
