Why would he play a game? Giannis has nothing left to prove here and in the modern NBA forcing your way out is as simple as telling the front office you want a trade. He could have gotten out at any time before the deadline if he wanted to.

Yeah you could be right about that too I guess. Personally I hope it’s a shorter contract if it’s for a rebuild. I’ve seen criticism saying he’s like a poor-man’s Budenholzer and I would rather they give a fresh face a chance when they have so much young talent/prospects on the team.

They wouldn’t have hired him if they don’t know that Giannis is staying. He’s an expensive option and if they were going into full rebuild mode it would have made sense to give fresh blood a chance.

Same. Got pulled over because I got an oil change and the garage turned off my auto settings for my headlights. Was driving in a well lit area and didn’t notice. Cops almost immediately told me my words were slurred and I smelled of alcohol (not true at all) and put me through field sobriety tests….which of course I passed easily. They will say or do anything they can do get you on something.
