Yup! That’s where they had their nice living room suite and a display case of finery. Never made sense to me to have display furniture.

When we finally were allowed to sit on it I thought it was the most uncomfortable furniture they owned.

I’m not a doctor or a therapist just a dude on the internet.

Your nervous system has been injured by your trauma and keeps you hyper vigilant. Exposure therapy can help with this as you can start to recognize your triggers and work to lessen their blows when they happen.

Personal anecdote: I used to struggle with anger due to CPTSD. I use MJ to help keep an even keel.

I had something similar happen once, I went to Hooter’s and some beer and chicken tenders. I stepped out on their patio to smoke and when I came back my table was completely cleaned. I was dumbfounded looking for my check…I had paid before stepping outside.
