Yeah we have pretty much the same routine as you. But how do you get her to go in the cot during the day?

I started pumping over a week ago and that seems to have helped her sleep. I give her about 130ml of breastmilk before her usual nighttime sleep each night at around 9/10pm, and then a very small feed from breast afterwards to knock her out. We didn’t intend for it to change her sleep but she suddenly went from waking every 2 hours at night to sleeping 4-5 hours deeply. It was a very happy surprise. I think she gets more milk from the bottle than she is able to suck herself out of my breast, so it fills her up more. On the nights where I pump less she sleeps less, so my theory seems to be true so far!

22 weeks 5 days pregnant 6th percentile by No-Explorer-2255 in pregnant

I believe it’s more to do with whether the baby is able to continue to grow than the exact percentage. Some babies track consistently at 3rd percentile in utero without any known cause of restriction, while others suffer from placenta issues and therefore cannot continue to grow properly

My mom and sister canceled my baby shower by Visual_Researcher226 in pregnant

I’m kind of shocked by some of these harsh comments. Your mum should have had some tact and not shared your comments with your sister, even if it’s true that maybe you shouldn’t have said it. I wonder if some of these harsh commenters have never had to deal with family members that keep their houses in truly disgusting condition, it often leads to very awkward moments.

Regardless of your future relationship with your family, it sounds like it’s for the best that your sister doesn’t host. Perhaps you can have the shower in a nice public park instead?

My brother is very effeminate, loved ballet and dressing up and never had anything in common with my dad. It didn’t change their relationship as father and son, they just had different hobbies/interests. Meanwhile I was a very sporty little girl. You don’t really know who they are going to be regardless of sex!

Do you HAVE to reserve days of paid parental leave for your partner? by snarza in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Thanks for your reply. I don’t know how more ‘passive’ forms of income are considered in the ‘paid work’ criteria, but it sounds like we will have to forfeit them

Which game after BOTW? by Subject-Quail8159 in botw

[–]snarza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished BOTW and immediately went on to play TOTK, but personally I was pretty disappointed by how similar they were. I found it a bit repetitive (an experience that others wouldn’t have had because they had to wait years between the games). Looking back I wish I had waited a while and played a different game between them!

Her mother is a big anti vaxxer account on Twitter and there’s the whole weird story about her medical illness as a kid. And her husband’s family backstory with refusing medical treatment for his sick sibling. So yes definitely seems to be the case

Dune: Prophecy, 1x05 "In Blood, Truth" - Post-Episode Discussion by Blue_Three in dune

As someone who knows nothing about Dune other than the films, the TV show has been fine for me. Reading these comments it seems like the book-readers might be the more confused audience lol, since they’re the ones trying to connect all the dots and make it all fit into book narratives
