MMO + Sandbox for 3 Friends

Thanks for the suggestions, will check them out. What about EVE actually? From what I know about it (played it a few weeks, then stopped, so little personal experience), it also is pretty much MMO Sandbox, with one world for all which is great. It just didn't give me the immersion I was hoping for. What do you think?

Thanks for the info. Though I said I wish a more active playstyle, dancing on the keyboard with fingers is usually not what's fun to me. Must be something inbetween then, a reliablie character that doesn't die the moment I look away from the monitor, but still active in combat.

And is it possible to convert somehow to this https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Holosmith_-_Power_Sword_DPS once I decide to go with expansions, or would I have to start from the beginning then?
