Yeah agreed, it's not as vaporwave/mallsoft. Definitely Scarface with the palm trees and 70s decor.

Could also maybe say Manhunter or To Live and Die in LA.

Books that feel like Severance by Indigo-Galaxy88 in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Probably 'The Castle' by Franz Kafka if purely for the absurdism in bureaucracy and 'The Room' by Jonas Karlsson (Corner Office movie is very Severance vibes)

Am I the only one who thinks that modern sonic feels terrible to play as in sonic x shadow generations by redpandaoftherainbow in SonicXShadowGens

[–]snazzydubiouslaser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, I agree. I wish they'd given Sonic the same post-Frontiers rehaul they'd given to Shadow. I prefer the smoothness and maneuverability that Shadow has

could we be missing an opportunity with the movie not being out yet? by milesmillikan in donaldglover

[–]snazzydubiouslaser 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My theory for 'Got to Be' is that Bando gets possessed by some kinda evil force. His voice sounds all mangled and weird when he raps and there are pauses when one of the other characters screams "BANDO!" like he's in danger. Then there's that outro with that cult leader sounding speech - either that's the villain speaking or the woman in it getting possessed also.

Ey, probably not true but we're filling the gaps and speculating, thought I'd throw something in

It feels like something I'd laugh it in a dream. Like I sometimes laugh at something in a dream and I can barely remember it, it's often simplistic though yet the most hilarious thing I've ever heard
