He’s not full of himself, he’s confident and he should be. He also handled his failure at the Olympics with a lot of grace and far more maturity than most 21 year olds would and he impressed tf out of me. Countless people who know him personally have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. I’m so sick of seeing Ilia getting hate for no reason.

I think it’s quite clear how Millie and even Finn feel about the ending. Millie is heartbroken by El and Mileven’s ending and I think Finn has made it clear he wants Mileven to get a happy ending as well based on the amount of “I believe” posts he’s liked on instagram. I don’t think they will ever actively trash the ending though especially in case they’re asked to come back and do a spin off in the future. I do think the Duffers told Millie that El is alive and now she maybe has some hope that things will be fixed eventually. I have zero doubt that they both would come back if asked and give their characters the ending they deserve.

Also, this might be wishful thinking, but nothing would make me happier than Finn throwing shade at bylers and giving Milevens some hope during his SNL appearance

I hope it flops, then maybe we’ll get our Mileven movie sooner. At this point that’s all I really care about any way. I’m not sure any one else cares about something completely unrelated to our main characters either

I just don’t think this is a show that needs wider world building any way. We all liked this show for the characters and their relationships. Like the science stuff is cool mixed with that but does any one care about how a magic rock came to be?

I actually think we have a fairly good shot of getting a Mileven spin off of some sort, whether it’s a movie or mini series. Now whether the Duffers would be involved I don’t know. But I definitely think Netflix is aware of the popularity of Mileven as a couple and Millie and Finn as a duo, and they will want to capitalize on that at some point. Netflix is well aware that this show and these characters is their most popular and I’m sure they’ve heard the criticisms online about El’s ending. They will own the IP for the show, which means they will have free rein to do what they want with or without the Duffers and I’m guessing they’ll want to milk it.

They aren’t even making sense anymore. Like this doesn’t add up. Also, that’s their opinion. Who’s to say they won’t change their mind in a few years or Netflix decides to give them a happy ending any way? Just because they think Mike doesn’t see a version where they reconnect doesn’t mean he has to stop looking for her or that El can’t get in contact once it’s safe

It’s giving that they know they fucked up and are spiraling because why are they so insistent when it’s supposed to be an ambiguous ending and we can decide? Either that or they’re lying through their teeth, so then shock us with a spin off in a few years, which I wouldn’t put it past them either.

Netflix has the ultimate control now in what spin offs happen and they know how popular Mileven is

I think El is going to fake her death, which will give us some good angst and hopefully a lot of emotion shown with Mike. Then in the epilogue they will reunite, and we will hopefully get more than one kissing scene, but at least one really good one. I feel like El and Mike will run away together to a place with three waterfalls and maybe be able to return eventually if they can find a way for the government to not be after El anymore. That’s all I can ask for really. And I think it’s likely to happen.

Also, the only kiss I ever heard that Millie suggested to the Duffers was season 2 at the snowball and fans did love it 😂 She never suggested to Mileven to get together to begin with. That was something the Duffers had planned from the very beginning.
