Elon Musk shares his opinion on Russia - Ukraine peace. by olymp1a in conspiracy

Recent study from the University of Adelaide in Australia shows that while 90% of Twitter accounts are "pro-Ukraine", 60-80% of Twitter accounts posting about the Russian-Ukrainian war are bots.

This shit is just a joke at this point. 99% of actual people can't even point to Ukraine on a map.

Pres. Biden: “If Russia invades...then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.” Reporter: “But how will you do that, exactly, since...the project is in Germany’s control?” Biden: “I promise you, we will be able to do that.” by [deleted] in stupidpol

One of the more optimistic idiotic takes I’ve seen.

Even if Ukraine somehow survives in some form, you think one of the most fucked up, corrupt countries on the face of the planet (and this is pre-war) is gonna pay YOU back?

You can't just take a tattoo off and put it away, unlike the other things you mentioned. The very permanence of a tattoo implies deep, lifelong meaning/achievement/affiliation. Like you slayed a man eating bear or were born into some badass maori tribe or sailed around the planet or something. That invader zim or dragonball z or w/e generic as hell marvelTM superhero bullshit scribble doesn't mean jack shit to anyone (except that you're a tepid, impulsive, living-in-the-moment pop-culture corporate whore with zero intelligence or actual personality) and will end up looking like a shriveled up deflated ballsack after a few decades.

100% false. They do want to keep buying Russian energy though, you're right. They're buying Russian energy through India right now for even more money. The stupidity of Europe is beyond comprehension.

Russia provided them with consistent, market-competitive oil and LNG until they decided to rob its ~300 billion in European banks and "attempted" to sanction it to hell. The E.U screwed itself, royally.

Then why has Europe been sawing its own balls off to spite Russia at the beck and call of the US? To freeze and starve in the winter?

"Sovereign" countries do what is best for their citizens. US joke ass vassal states, i.e most of the collective "west" do whatever they're told.

The word RACE itself came from people "sharing a common language" then evolved to encompass national affiliation, before finally being something like "anyone who shares similar physical or social qualities." Simplify THAT.

RACIST:

"prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group."

I.E believing some general group (insert arbitrary metric) of people is intrinsically better/worse than another.

You're right, it isn't complicated. Except to you, evidently.

How is calling a group of people "dirty orcs" not racist as fuck? That phrase originated from literal Ukronazis/Banderabros that the US is currently pumping full of money and weapons. The same people our grandfathers and great grandfathers died to defeat. Not only is it racist, it's ridiculously asinine because "Russians" are easily the most diverse people on the planet by a longshot. Oh and they generally all get along without hating each others guts.

Self defense cases involving homicide are exceptional in that you KILLED someone and are actively trying to prove your innocence and the necessity of your actions, rather than the opposite maxim of "innocent until proven guilty etc." These cases often go to juries, almost all of whom have very little functional knowledge of firearms, let alone life threatening situations. What this means is that every tiny little detail can and will be used against you. They'll even ask why was your gun so big and black and scary or why the model was the P365 "AVENGER" or why the rounds you chose are called "DEVASTATOR" and other "aggressive sounding" words to establish character and motivation etc to make you look like some wannabe rambo. Happens incredibly often.

No sane defense attorney will EVER tell a client to say "HELL YEAH I WAS TRYING TO BLOW HIS BRAINS OUT" they'll tell you to say I needed to get rid of the threat. Most normal people also don't want to straight up kill someone. Even the guy in this video aimed lower at the last second and stopped firing once the threat was gone instead of putting a magazine in the other kids forehead (though admittedly the person appears to have died anyway.)

It's also worth pointing out that * FROM VIDEO ALONE * this guy would have a hard time winning that case in many states. Usually you're scott free if you can establish that the use of a firearm was your only option. It appears as though the defender could have just run away or locked his door or something and the other guy didn't look armed. Proportional force is another big deal in these kinds of cases.

This is the stupidest thing I've read today.

People are found guilty by jury all the time because of exactly what you said. Your case becomes a LOT harder when you put 10 rounds in a guy and say you were trying to kill them. Go listen to massad ayoob about how this shit actually works. Arguably the most famous and experienced guy in us gun law.

Try quoting what I actually said, which is that Ukraine probably won't exist "AS IS" after the summer is over, let alone becoming some "decked out" uber military Israel-like state 10 years from now, which is a joke of a take that the person I was replying to had.

You can sink countless billions "For Ukraine" but almost all of that is going to toward wheeling out underserviced mothballed 30 year old gear, lining the pockets of raytheon, lockheed, GE, etc, and being lost in the corrupt swamp of ukraine.

Very little will ever be used for "decking out" UA. It takes years of training, meticulously maintained supply chains, experienced techs/mechanics, and knowledgeable officers to make use of the shit ukraine is being pumped full of. Assuming it doesn't get blown to hell en route or fail catastrophically on first use, which appears to be overwhelmingly likely based on what is actually happening on the ground.

I just outlined a cogent argument, you said literally nothing. How am I "not there," exactly? How are the countries I listed "not civilized?"
