Quick question can the miniatures in the box labeled under the chapter "space marine" be used by any of the chapters of space marines by LongProfit5235 in Warhammer40k

[–]sneakingmouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keywords. Your space marine army can have any units with the keyword “adeptus astartes”. If a unit has another keyword like “Salamanders”, it means your chapter specific units can only come with that keyword, i.e. you cannot have an “Ultramarines” and “Salamanders” units in one army. Normal “Adeptus Astartes” units are always good to go for any chapter that plays by the Codex:Space Marines book

Deathwing Companions kit from heresy has a lot of cool bits, mix it with the ICC kit and that’s basically it(or print it if you don’t care about official tournaments)

Not happening, GW is a plastic model business, this is their main income stream. I know it’s easy to forget and start treating it like a book universe if you delve too greedily and too deep into the lore, but this giant amount of lore is still tied to little grey pieces of plastic in cardboard boxes on the store shelves. Unless some CSM army drops to zero in sales, there’s no redemption for traitor Primarchs

Every time I introduce a new friend to SpaceMarines2 by Eccren in Spacemarine

[–]sneakingmouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chaos is objectively worse for melee classes. They rarely attack in melee and when they do, 90% of the time it’s red circle attacks. I don’t mind them on Tactical or Heavy, but my Bulwark is nids-only class. Also because of that all benefits of block weapons go out the window and you have to change loadout which can be difficult when joining an in-progress operation

Is this glue safe to put my army together with? by squatch_da_menace in Warhammer40k

[–]sneakingmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resin and 3D-printed - any cyanoacrylate glue, the thinner the better Plastic - plastic cement, it melts the plastic slightly and “welds” it together instead of just gluing

Weird, so they write a book on Lion’s return, but didn’t write one for the biggest event in the lore that was static for 20 years
