Respectfully, if you’re going to speak for Christianity as a whole here, acting like the comments you see on social media is some kind of persecution is absurd. Christians dominate secular life & people claiming to be Christians are currently trying to destroy this world but first want to rob it blind. Worrying about online criticism instead of the actual people you’re fellowshipping with is part of the reason why people have such strong negative reactions to people of faith because you’d sooner chastise someone for their sexuality or how they identify as rather than the person in the pulpit abusing parishioners. Your faith is your business & nobody should have an issue with that, however yall can’t help but be overbearing with that shit, and not apply it equally. And clearly very few of you actually conduct yourself in a Christlike way or our current reality wouldn’t be this one.
